I’m A Celeb star GK Barry is about to enter the ITV jungle – but fans may not be aware of her TV past.
The Loose Women panellist, 25, had a role on a BBC show before she found fame as a TikTok sensation. Grace spent time as a runner whilst completing a film studies degree at Nottingham Trent University.
During this time, she worked on the BBC soap opera Doctors as a runner and she spoke about this before heading into the ITV jungle. Grace said: “To be honest with you, I really didn’t contribute ever since that running job.

“I was just there because it was because it was on BBC. But, yeah, it was very interesting to see how everything is filmed.
“And also there was a scene where a woman was giving birth, and on the whiteboard I wrote Dr Keeling, so that is somewhere out there on a doctor’s episode. I got my two cents in.”
The BBC soap is coming to an end today after 23 years on air and will end today with a final episode. The medics of Letherbridge will officially bid farewell to fans after being a fan favourite for over two decades.
BBC announced it’s closure last October and said: “We have taken the very difficult decision to bring daytime drama Doctors to an end after 23 years.”
This comes in time for GK Barry to wave goodbye to the soap and hello to the ITV jungle as the 2024 series kicks off on Sunday November 17th. When we asked who her horror campmate would be, she told us: “I just think someone that really enjoys having a clean living space, because, unfortunately, that is not me.
“I think that would just wind me up or someone that’s just really enthusiastic about tasks. There’s nothing fun about any of those tasks.”
However, she did also reveal who she would love to have in the camp with us and said: “I’d love like Danny Dyer or Peter Crouch. I feel like I could get on with both of them.”
