Jeremy Clarkson shares look inside new pub as he ‘accidentally’ opens 5 weeks early for Euros final

Beer lovers unite – as Jeremy Clarkson’s new pub has opened it’s doors and it looks incredible.

Jeremy has given us a sneak peek inside his new pub after he ‘accidentally’ opened it weeks ahead of schedule – and it’s everything beer lovers could have hoped for.

The former Top Gear host opened the doors to the public on Sunday for the Euro 2024 final. With England flags adorned across the pub walls spirits were high and the beer was flowing despite the agonising result for Gareth Southgate and his team.

The 64-year-old reportedly paid “less than £1 million” for The Windmill which is nestled in five acres of countryside near Burford in Oxfordshire. Jeremy has previously revealed that it is built on a former hotspot for dogging, and just last week made a grim discovery on the site.

With the worn knickers binned Jeremy decided it the Euros final was the perfect opportunity to open the doors to his new pub, – which is roughly 20 minutes away by car from Diddly Squat Farm. The pub is expected to be a hit with tourists who will no doubt travel far and wide to enjoy a bottle of Hawkstone.

Jeremy uploaded a video to the Hawkstone Instagram account earlier today (July 15) showing off the pub’s early opening. In the video, which already has over 21,000 likes, Jeremy can be seen pouring pints of his famous Hawkstone Lager from behind the bar while crowds enjoy the football.

He captioned the video: “Last night we got a bit over excited thinking that England might….so we accidentally opened our very unfinished pub for the game .. more news to follow of a real opening much later in the summer or autumn…”

It isn’t clear if the venue was open to the public at the time of filming or if it was a private event. Hinting at an official opening date Jeremy can bea heard saying in the video: “It’s going to be very many weeks before we’ve got it open… but by mistake we’ve got very many people in here.”

You can have a first look at the pub in the Instagram video shared below by Hawkstone.

Fans took to the comments, with one saying: “You are going to need to build a bigger pub when this opens, they’ll(we) will be travelling from all over to drink/eat here!” Another wrote: “Will do a “clarkson tour” to uk soon. Any tour operators offering yet?”

A third commented on his pint pouring skills saying: “Nicely poured pint!”
