Kanye West is being sued by his former assistant.
Lauren Pisciotta is taking action against the rapper for allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting her during a recording session, co-hosted by Sean “P Diddy” Combs – she did not accuse Combs in the lawsuit. Lauren previously sued West for sexual harassment, breach of contract and wrongful termination back in June of this year (2024).
However, a legal representative for West told The Times that he intended to counterclaim against Lauren over “baseless” allegations. They also accused Pisciotta of coercion, blackmail and distortion.
Fox News Digital reported: “Pisciotta made the new claims in the 86-page amended lawsuit, which was filed on Tuesday (8 October) and obtained by Fox News Digital. The court documents stated that Pisciotta and her former artist management client, who was not named in the lawsuit, were invited by West to attend a studio session in Santa Monica, California, that the Grammy Award winner was hosting alongside Combs.”

“Pisciotta did now accuse Combs of any wrongdoing in the lawsuit.” The publication went on to say that according to the lawsuit, when Pisciotta arrived at the studio session “drinks were served to her and others in attendance,” which was “followed by an announcement that everybody had to drink if they wanted to stay”.
The documents alleged that “unbeknownst” to Lauren, she was drinking a beverage “laced with an unidentified drug”: “After a few small sips of the beverage poured at the direction of Kanye West a.k.a. Ye by a studio assistant and then served to her by Kanye West a.k.a. Ye, Plaintiff suddenly started to feel disoriented.”
Continuing on, the document said that Lauren “began to slip into an altered and heavily impaired state” and started to feel “less in control of her body and speech”. The lawsuit alleged that Pisciotta claimed she woke and felt “physically ill and confused,” with no recollection of the night past sipping the drink.
The documents claimed Lauren “felt immense shame and embarrassment,” to the point where she cannot speak about the session as she was “too traumatised and disturbed to speak” about what transpired.
It has also been alleged that Pisciotta “could not recall and was certainly not aware that any kind of sexual assault had happened to her or her former client”. Lauren then alleged that “much later,” when working with Kanye once again, the rapper mentioned that the pair “did kind of hook up a little one time” before reminiscing about the night in the recording studio.
Pisciotta said that she was “in complete and utter shock” as she couldn’t remember, to which she alleged West “laughed and proudly” told her that “women love to say they don’t remember” before changing the topic of conversation”. Lauren worked as the Gold Digger hitmaker’s personal assistant between 2021 and 2022.
