Kesha’s ‘sensual’ ghost encounter left her ‘open’ to sex with paranormal spirits

Kesha has claimed that she once had a “sensual encounter” with a ghost and was “into it”.

In an interview with Ryan Seacrest on KIIS FM back in 2012, she addressed the meaning behind her song Supernatural, which is “about experiences with spirits” but “in a sexy way”. The singer then said: “I don’t know his name, he was a ghost! I’m very open to it.”

Years later, she told E! News’ Daily Pop in 2021: “I was in Texas, Fort Worth, Texas, and I had something wake me up while I was in bed with my boyfriend at the time and it was a touch down the body.”

Back in 2012 during an appearance on Conan, Kesha said that she went “to the bone zone with a ghost,” but clarified to Daily Pop that it was instead a “gentle wakeup”. “I woke up and looked at the end of the bed and there was an apparition of a woman. So, full disclosure, I never actually slept with a ghost, but she did wake me up in a very sensual way.”

According to the TiK ToK singer, the spiritual encounter wasn’t her first. She previously confessed: “I’ve been experiencing weird stuff since I was little and it’s always been in me to be fascinated with supernatural, the paranormal, the unexplainable, the tangible.”

She even expressed her love for the spirit world on her project Conjuring Kesha, which she branded “the most absurd, fun, wild, life-changing thing she’s ever done in her life”. Each episode, she “took a friend to a different paranormally charged location” and went “on a wild-ass adventure” with them.

The singer admitted that the show “scared the s*** out of all of them” and helped her open her mind to “supernatural, paranormal and spiritual possibilities”. She explained: “It has made me think: ‘If there are spirits, if there are ghosts, if there are demons, if there’s Bigfoot, if there are aliens, if there are Talosians living in a volcano at Mount Shasta underground, what does this mean? The possibilities are endless.”
