Love Island’s Nicole has been accused of “shaming” Ciaran when he said he’d slept with 120 people.
The pair, who have been coupled up since early on in the current series of the ITV dating show, were having a casual chat on the sofas when Nicole started to press Ciaran about how many people he’d been intimate with. She looked gobsmacked when he admitted it was 120, making a retching sound and telling him: “I actually feel sick. That’s gotta be lies, there’s no way… 120 girls?”
“That’s disgusting at 21,” she went on. Nicole, 24, suggested it would have been different if Ciaran was 30 or 35, explaining: “It means you’ve slept with lots of girls in one short period.”

However, her reaction went down badly with viewers, who said she was “s*** shaming” Ciaran. “How’s it OK for the girls to s**t shame the guys?????” one asked on X.

Another posted: “HOLD ON, IS… IS NICOLE SHAMING CIARAN’S SEXUAL LIBERATION? OH MY GOD I AM SHAKING AND OFFENDED!!!”
“Not Nicole basically s*** shaming man like Ciaran,” remarked another person. One claimed: “If Nicole said her body count was 120 and he said she’s disgusting she would throw a FIT.”

“Nicole is spiralling,” somebody else commented. “How you gone (sic) say your man’s sexual past is disgusting and think he gone (sic) be OK.”
Other viewers said Ciaran’s age had nothing to do with it and that Nicole shouldn’t have mentioned that. “Nicole really needs to stop age shaming Ciaran,” said one. “You knew how old he was. Bringing it up in conversations to prove a point is so mean and honestly so immature of her.” “Nicole with the constant age comments is ticking me off,” said one fan.

Another viewer said the revelation shouldn’t be “a deal breaker” for Nicole and Ciaran. “If Nicole isn’t careful she risks pushing Ciaran away when he really respects and appreciates her,” they said.
“Despite the high body count Ciaran is really mature for his age. It’s what happens in the here and now that counts. That shouldn’t be a deal breaker for them.”
