Love Island star’s heartache as she admits family hasn’t visited her after huge move

Love Island star Jessie Wynter has confessed her family haven’t visited her since she made her big move to the UK.

The 27-year-old moved to England from Australia last year after appearing on the hit dating show at the start of 2023. Jessie’s appearance on Love Island came as a pleasant surprise to fans as she previously starred in the Australian version of the hit dating show in 2019.

Jessie didn’t manage to find love during her first stint on reality TV. But luckily, the stunning blonde bombshell sparked a romantic connection with farmer Will Young and has since moved into his family home in Buckinghamshire.

But despite living in the UK for several months, Jessie revealed that she initially found the move difficult. She also said her family hasn’t visited yet.

Talking exclusively to Daily Star she said: “At the start, it actually took me a very long time to adjust, especially coming straight off the show and going to a new country not being able to see and talk to my family since coming off.

“I found that really challenging but I think when you move away from home if you stick out that first six months, after that life starts to become better. And now I’ve really settled here – I feel like the UK is now my home.”

When asked if her family has flown over to see her, she replied: “No my family hasn’t come to visit me but we’ve gone to visit them. I do have one of my brothers coming over this year, which is going to be so fun, I can not wait!”

Jessie also confirmed that she’s been given a visa for up to three years. She also revealed that she is currently house hunting for her first home with Will.

As Jessie and Will are still going strong in their relationship, Daily Star also quizzed her on this aspect of her life. She told us: “Life’s been good! So I’m still in a long-term relationship with Will which is the best possible outcome you could really ask.

“We now live together, we travelled the world together. I really can’t complain about life since Love Island if I’m honest.”

Jessie also admitted that she feels Will is the love of her life. She added: “Yeah he’s definitely the love of my life.

“You know when you meet someone and you can see the future with them? He and I are planning everything together, we’re very very happy.”
