Ahead of a massive year for Oasis star Noel Gallagher as he sets out on his worldwide tour, the guitarist threw a lavish party attended by some of the biggest names in the scene
Noel Gallagher has thrown a big Christmas do filled to the brim with famous faces.
The Oasis star, 57, is gearing up for a huge 2025 as he prepares to go on tour with brother Liam for the first time in 15 years. The pair announced they would be reuniting for the 30th anniversary of their first album Definitely Maybe – with tickets selling out in the space of hours.
But with a busy year ahead of him, Mancunian lad Noel was quick to bid farewell to 2024 with a lavish party. The do was attended by a host of famous faces both in the industry and those who are good pals of the High Flying Birds star.
The luxurious party took place in the glitzy Chiltern Firehouse hotel in Marylebone in central London on Thursday (December 12). Noel played host to the lavish event, where he was joined by doting girlfriend Sally Mash as the star-studded guest list began to arrive.
Among those who were in attendance at the party were Dave Gardner and his girlfriend Jessica Clarke, as well as Rocco Ritchie and his partner Olivia Monjardin. Another attendee was Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi, who also brought his rumoured partner Remy O’Brien to the festivities.
It comes after Lewis and Noel had a public falling out after Noel first branded the Someone You Loved singer an “idiot” in 2019. While Lewis responded well to the dig, claiming that he had “peaked” in his career, Noel was not happy – continuing to berate him and telling him “find some joy” in his music.
Lewis would go on to appear at Glastonbury, wearing a love heart T-shirt in the hopes of extending an olive branch to the Wonderwall star. However, Noel was not impressed whatsoever and fumed: “Chewbacca should enjoy his 15 minutes; the greatest day his life that I slagged him off or called him an idiot.”
Noel would then go on to brand Lewis’ homeland of Scotland a “third world country”, causing him to lose support as the friendly banter became more intense. However, it now appears with Lewis attending Noel’s Christmas gathering that the hatchet may have been buried between the two.
It comes as Noel gears up for his worldwide tour with his brother and former rival Liam. The pair are gearing up for a huge tour across the UK and Ireland next summer, before heading across the pond to the US and Australia to perform for thousands of fans.
Shortly after tickets went on sale for the shows in September, fans were livid due to the fact that the initial cost of tickets had risen by almost double to high demand. The brothers initially denied using what is called “dynamic pricing”, instead blaming Ticketmaster – who had been selling the admissions – for the mix-up, but later apologised by adding another date to their tour.
