Oasis’ next support act confirmed for reunion tour – and they’re nineties indie legends

Oasis will be supported by a big 90s band on their reunion tour.

Brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher will hit the road in 2025 for a long-awaited string of comeback shows, and it has now been revealed that Liverpool indie rockers Cast will be joining them. The Britpop band confirmed the news on Instagram, saying they were “delighted” to be supporting the Wonderwall singers for their “BIBLICAL” UK and Ireland performances.

Vocalist John Power wrote on his own account: “Unbelievable to be asked to join this majestic line up as special guests on the @oasis tour next year. Energy attracts energy. R’n’R Forever. Cosmic vibes. He who knows it feels it.”

Oasis announced their tour earlier this year. It was huge news for fans, who had been hoping it would happen despite the Gallaghers having been locked in a war of words for years after falling out at a show.

They announced the news on social media in a dramatic post in which they told fans: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over.”

Cast – who are known for tracks such as Flying and Live The Dream – are the second support act announced for Oasis Live ’25, with The Verve star Richard Ashcroft already on the bill. Noel described watching Cast live as a “religious experience”.
