Abbey Clancy has booked husband Peter Crouch in for experimental hair loss injections to try to save his barnet.
The 38-year-old model is worried about the former England striker’s receding hairline. She wants him to try cutting-edge platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy before his follicles fall out completely.
The treatment involves taking a small amount of blood and spinning it to concentrate the platelets. Blood is then injected back into the scalp to stimulate hair growth and thicken existing hair.

Speaking on their Therapy Crouch podcast, she said: “My friend’s husband got this treatment on his hair… where they take your own blood, spin it round in some contraption.
“They take out the plasma and inject it into your scalp, and the results have been incredible.”
Impressed by the science behind PRP, Abbey decided Peter should try it, saying: “I booked you in.
“I was reading about male hair loss, and I think you can save it if it’s at the top of the receding line.
“You have to get that quick because if all the hair follicles are gone, you can’t get them back.”
Peter agreed to the treatment on the condition that they go on his dream holiday once their four children had left home.
He said: “Then we’ll go on the road trip, can we, if I’ve got a full head of hair?”
Abbey added: “Blowing in the wind. Nice convertible Cadillac, Route 66.”
