Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash are in a pickle about having a sixth baby as they’ve said “we cannot cope”.
The Loose Women star is mum to five kids, three of whom – Rex, four, Rose, two, and one year old Belle – she shares with her hubby Joe. She also has two older boys, Zachary, 15, and Leighton, 10, from past relationships, and ex-EastEnders star Joe has a teenage son, Harry, with his ex.
But, after saying she was feeling “broody” on Instagram, and Joe saying they’re open to fostering, it seems like Stacey, 34, and Joe, 42, have a tricky decision to make about their family.

After their youngest, Belle, was born, Stacey seemed sure that she and Joe couldn’t handle another baby. She told The Mirror last year: “We don’t want any more we cannot cope with it.” Yeah, we wanted all these kids and we’re so grateful to have them. So we will get romantic… but in 20 years’ time,” she joked.
The former X Factor star also made it clear she’s not expecting again, telling her Instagram fans: “Oh, for those of you messaging me saying is this baby number six – no, no no! Don’t worry, we’re taking every precaution possible to make sure that doesn’t happen! “, reports the Express.
Joe previously chatted with The Netmums Podcast and said, “Before you know it you’ve got six! This is it, I’m pretty sure that this is it. We can’t go there again which is really sad, we love kids, we love the baby stage, and the toddler stage, and the baby stage goes by really fast, so it is a little bit sad but I think this will be it.”
Bu his wife felt “broody” again just a few months later. In January, Stacey, who wasn’t feeling well on holiday, posted a video of Belle and Rex at their home, Pickle Cottage. Belle was taking steps in the kitchen. She wrote: “Well Done Belle and Rexy This made my day today..”
She also said: “While I’ve been feeling unwell Rex and Joe have been teaching Belle new skills What happened to my baby? Why am I broody? Hope this makes you smile as much as it did me today..” Last year, Joe said he and Stacey might want to be foster parents one day. His mum has been doing it for 15 years.
He told the podcast: “Fostering is something that me and Stacey have talked about and would love to do. We’d love to foster, we’d love to give something back, you know? It is something that we definitely want to do, when our kids get old enough that they’re not as reliant on us. Touch wood, we’re both healthy enough and fit enough. We’ll have to wait until the time comes, but we’re open to the option.”
