Beloved children’s character Piglet has had a horror makeover.
ITN shared the official trailer for Piglet to their YouTube channel and excited horror fans rushed to share their thoughts in the comment section. One person wrote: “You got me, this is cinema [praising hands emoji].”
Another shocked film fan typed: “A horror movie with Piglet, WOW,” while someone else said: “Superb trailer. Looking forward to this.” Others branded the video “amazing,”

“Can’t wait for it,” added another horror lover, who signed off with a red heart emoji and asked “when it will be released”. “I love it,” read another comment with a laughing emoji as someone else begged: “Hope we get a Tigger horror movie.”
One cinemagoer questioned: “Was Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey not enough?” while another wondered whether the film is “related to the Poohniverse in any way”. ITN is the mastermind studio behind the flick – the same people who released the Blood and Honey films.
ITN have also worked on other knock-off movies such as Granny Krampus, The Bad Nun, Bloodslinger and The Legend of Jack and Jill. Bloody Disgusting reported: “For clarity, [Piglet] is not part of the public domain universe known as the Poohniverse, which began with Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey. Same idea, different team.”
They continued on to give horror fans a brief synopsis of the upcoming slasher movie. Bloody Disgusting wrote: “On Kate’s 21st birthday camping trip, her friends encounter Piglet, a monstrous human-pig hybrid who brutally murders one of them. They uncover Piglet’s origins and Kate must confront her past to survive the relentless killer.”
Lauren Staerck, Alina Desmond, Valery Danko, Shayli Reagan and Alexander Butler play characters in the Andrea M. Catinella directed and Harry Boxley written horror. The Poohniverse, also known as the Twisted Childhood Universe, is a series of dark reimagined fairy tale characters.
Alongside Winnie-The-Pooh, other beloved Disney icons have had gruesome makeovers after entering the public domain including Bambi, Pinocchio and Peter Pan.
