SNL50 was a three-hour-long special celebrating half a century of the iconic US comedy show Saturday Night Live.
The event aired on NBC on Friday, February 14, from New York City’s Radio City Music Hall and made history with its iconic star-studded lineup.
From music performances including Cher, Miley Cyrus, and all surviving members of Nirvana, to hilarious comedy sketches featuring Sabrina Carpenter, Pedro Pascal, and Will Ferrell, it was a jam-packed night for A-listers.
Tom Hanks even made an appearance, but fans were left concerned. He then seemed to storm out after one joke from Jimmy Fallon.
Familiar faces opened the show from the early years of SNL and continued to appear throughout the night, recreating the show’s much-loved sketches and starring in plenty of new ones.
