Fearne Cotton’s ex-husband Jesse Wood has confirmed his new romance with Made in Chelsea star Gemma Gregory by sharing a loved-up photo of the pair on social media
Fearne Cotton’s ex, Jesse Wood, has made it Insta-official with a Made in Chelsea babe. The son of rock royalty Ronnie Wood and Fearne called it quits last December.
In February, 43 year old Fearne was snapped sharing a smooch with telly director Elliot Hegarty during a London night out. Now, 48 year old Jesse is flaunting his new love life, double-tapping a cosy pic with Made In Chelsea’s Gemma Gregory, 39, soaking up some sunshine.
Gemma, the daughter of thespian Paul Gregory, posted the adorable snap on Tuesday, captioned: “Bloody love this one” alongside a red heart emoji.
This follows Fearne opening up about their friendly split on Lorraine Kelly’s show on Monday morning. She shared that things are peachy between them, saying: “It’s all very amicable and the kids are doing great. I am in a very good place.”
Fearne and Jesse have two kids together – Rex, 11, and Honey, 8. Jesse also has two grown-up children, Arthur, 21, and Lola, 18, from a previous marriage, reports OK!
The duo surprised fans when they announced they were parting ways last December, just five months after celebrating a decade together.
Months previously Fearne announced with a heavy heart that she and Jesse had called it quits on their marriage. She stated: “It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know that Jesse and I are ending our marriage. Our priority has been and always will be our children. We please ask that you respect the privacy of our family at this time.”
Rumours suggest that the couple’s relationship had been shaky for a while. Fearne, in a 2019 interview that has resurfaced, confessed that their union was “suffering” because of Jesse’s intense schedule with his band, Reef, which had been putting pressure on their marriage.
The pair first crossed paths in Ibiza back in 2010 and exchanged vows in a ceremony in 2014.
Jesse’s stepmother, Jo Wood, has publicly commented on the split, expressing her surprise to the Daily Mail: “I was shocked actually. I didn’t expect Fearne to have a new boyfriend. And Jesse was devastated.”
She continued: “Sometimes in life, you have to go through these things. Their time was up – they had to move on.
“I hope Fearne will be very happy. I’m sure Jesse’s going to be very happy. These things work out.”
Jo also mentioned her eagerness to meet Jesse’s new partner Gemma, saying: “It’s all very new – it’s right at the very beginning.”
