Glastonbury Festival resale tickets are set to be released tonight [24 April], but when is the sale and how much are tickets? Here is all you need to know ahead of the drop
Glastonbury Festival resale tickets are dropping soon.
Festival-goers are gearing up to scramble for resale tickets to the upcoming event – these are tickets that had been bought but were not paid for in full by the payment deadline.
This year’s tickets are hotter than ever, especially since it’s been revealed that next year will be a fallow year (meaning no festival) – the pressure is really on.
Eager fans can have another crack at scoring a ticket tonight [Thursday, April 24] at 6pm, reports the Mirror.
Per the official Glastonbury site, tonight’s re-sale will focus on ticket and coach travel packages. General admission tickets will hit the virtual shelves at 9am on Sunday, April 27.
If you’re eyeing up cancelled accommodation options like Worthy View, Sticklinch or looking for campervan and caravan passes, they’ll be available come Sunday at 11am.
If you’re hoping to get your hands on a ticket, you must hit up the official Glastonbury Festival website. This is the only place offering the golden tickets and make sure every single person in your squad is registered before attempting
Registration closed at 5pm on Wednesday April 23 and it’s staying that way until after the resale.
This year’s festival pass will set you back £378.50 with an added £5 on top for booking fees per ticket. Don’t forget the postage and packaging, which is another £10.25 for each order or £2.75 for coach tickets.
If you’re planning to rock up on a coach, you’ll need a festival ticket too. The price of your coach ticket depends on where you’re coming from and you can find the costs on the official Glastonbury Festival site.
For those snapping up Ticket and Coach Travel packages, there’s a cap at two tickets per transaction, but if you’re going for General Admission you can grab up to four tickets in one go.
The deposit scheme is now closed, meaning festivalgoers will have to pay in full.
Glastonbury officials have revealed that there are “very limited” tickets, so it could be handy to set an alarm ahead of time.
Have all your details readily available as being organised can make a world of difference when trying to secure your ticket.
210,000 music enthusiasts are set to descend on Worthy Farm in Somerset on 25 June for five days of fun, with a lineup that includes The 1975, Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo.
Sir Rod Stewart, the first name announced as part of the massive line-up, will take on the legends slot following in the footsteps of stars like Shania Twain, Kylie Minogue and Diana Ross.
Friday’s entertainment will also feature Busta Rhymes, Wet Leg, Self Esteem and Supergrass, among others. The Saturday line-up includes Irish band Kneecap, Kaiser Chiefs and Weezer, while Sunday will see performances from The Prodigy and Jorja Smith.
Festivalgoers may be aware that the new disposable vape ban will be coming into play from 1 June. If you’re looking into alternative options for your nicotine moment, brands such as Nordic Spirit offer nicotine pouches so you can stock up in preparation for Glastonbury 2025.
