The ‘leaked’ poster for Glastonbury 2025 has been doing the rounds today

A possible sneak peek at the Glastonbury 2025 line-up has sent fans into a frenzy on social media.

A supposed leaked poster has been seen in a Glastonbury Facebook group, the image has sparked excitement with names like The 1975 and Olivia Rodrigo tipped as headliners, right up there with confirmed legends Neil Young and Sir Rod Stewart.

This comes after Glastonbury’s official Instagram dropped a cryptic teaser on Wednesday, with a clip showing a phoenix rising from the ashes, strikingly like the backdrop of the “leaked” poster. Fans are reading it as a tease that an official announcement will happen tomorrow, Thursday March 6.

Following the leak, fans believe the official announcement will come tomorrow

Althought the first line-up poster usually gets revealed at the beginning of March, the full line-up announcement comes around the end of May, and after November’s ticket scramble saw Glasto-obsessive fork out close to £400, all eyes are on which big names will be gracing the stages live.

Reddit has been swamped with bogus mock-ups of festival line-up posters claiming a March 6 at 8:00am reveal, complete with a dodgy BBC watermark.

These phony billings include acts like Olivia Rodrigo, The 1975, Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, Pulp, Doechii, and Biffy Clyro.

When pressed for a scoop on the lineup, a Reddit user with alleged insider knowledge said: “Nothing confirmed but I’ve been told by someone who is likely to know, so I’d be surprised if they’re wrong.”

Music lovers are buzzing for the return of the iconic Glastonbury Festival at Worthy Farm in Somerset, on June 25 to 29.

While the full line up is yet to be announced, rock legend Neil Young, 79, and Sir Rod Stewart, 80, have been confirmed.

Reportedly, the organisers have also bagged Olivia Rodrigo, 22, and indie-rock darlings The 1975 for top billing over the weekend. They’re banking on Olivia and Matty Healy’s crew to pull in the youngsters and round out the fan base flocking to see Neil Young strum his classics.

Insiders have told the Daily Mail: “Both The 1975 and Olivia Rodrigo are massive names who appeal to a much younger audience, so the hope is that Glastonbury will appeal to the youngsters this year as well as those who might want to see Neil or Rod.”

It’s not their debut at the iconic fest; both The 1975 and Olivia have wowed Glastonbury goers before.

Whispers suggest that The 1975 will rock the Pyramid Stage on Friday night, while Olivia, long rumoured for a top slot this year, is tipped to dazzle as the grand finale on Sunday night. Meanwhile, Neil is tipped to steal the show with Saturday’s headline act.
