Love Island’s Molly-Mae Hague shared her ‘nightmare’ situation with fans and admitted that she is ‘torn’ over an issue that has left her struggling to hold back tears
Molly-Mae Hague has given a tearful life update to fans.
The former Love Islander was close to tears as she confessed that she is having a tough time. The new mum told her followers she had planned to film a vlog of her day, but to Molly’s shock she discovered several parts of her house were “saturated in urine.”
She explained that her cats, Eggy and Bread, have been showing signs of stress and started to wee around the house including on her personal items to mark their territory.
“It’s such a prevalent situation, it’s such an issue right now in our house,” she admitted. Molly revealed that every day she finds her stuff soaked in cat pee, even her vanity table and mirror haven’t escaped the feline onslaught, reports the Mirror.
She shared: “Any object that is brought into the house that’s new, so Tommy bought me a bunch of flowers the other day, put them down on the stairs. Within five minutes they were saturated in wee.”
“It’s actually getting me a bit emotional […] bit by bit [they’re] tearing this house apart,” she vented.
Molly has had to replace all the carpets in her bedroom due to the urine stains. A cat therapist suggested that the neighbour’s cat is “tormenting” Eggy and Bread, leading them to feel frightened in their own home.
“They’re marking their territory,” Molly explained, noting they urinate along the edges of every carpet and the borders of the house.
Feeling mortified, she confessed to her followers: “I’m really embarrassed. It’s not the nicest subject. Welcome to the reality of this house right now.”
“It’s just a problem that’s been going on for I kid you not, years now, and it’s getting to a point now where I’m exhausted of options.”
