Marvel fans have been left fuming as they think a major spoiler has been shared for the forthcoming Thunderbolts film starring Florence Pugh and David Harbour – who has been busy getting over his split with Lily Allen.

The comic book giants spent hours slowly revealing chairs confirming who would be starring in Avengers: Doomsday, with fans being thrilled to see some of the names including Channing Tatum and Sir Ian McKellen.

Fans of the series are worried that by announcing all of the names in advance and before the release of Thunderbolts, they have accidentally revealed who dies in the next film. There are two spoilers that seem to have been given by the absence of a name, and also by the presence of others.

Eagle-eyed viewers noticed that one of the main cast members for Thunderbolts was missing from the line-up of chairs: Olga Kurylenko. She starred as Bond girl Camille Montes in the Quantum of Solace, before joining the MCU for Black Widow, where she played the role of Taskmaster.

She is playing the role again in Thunderbolts, but fans think the lack of her name on the chairs for Doomsday means she will die in Thunderbolts, hence won’t appear in the later film. However, there were also several other big Marvel names which didn’t appear on the chair reveals, and there are reports more names will be shared in the future.

Her name may yet still be added. Fans also think there’s another spoiler in the reveal, that the fact everyone else but Olga is named means nobody else dies in Thunderbolts. Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Lewis Pullman, Wyatt Russell, and Hannah John-Kamen are all named on the chairs, so fans think their safety is guaranteed.

Although, that’s not to say that their character doesn’t die just to appear in a flashback. Many fans had been thinking that David Harbour’s Red Guardian, John-Kamen’s Ghost, or Stan’s Bucky could meet a sticky end in the next Thunderbolts.

Avengers: Doomsday will hit cinemas on May 1, 2026.
