Timothee Chalamet’s mother Nicole Flender has addressed her son’s relationship with Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kylie Jenner, revealing what she really thinks of the reality TV star
Timothee Chalamet’s mum has revealed what she really thinks of his girlfriend Kylie Jenner.
Nicole Flender spoke to Curbed and said: “I have to say, she’s lovely. She’s very nice to me.”
The A-list actor’s mum also spoke about the moment she found out that he’d bought a mansion near to Kylie’s house: ““Did he ask for my advice? No, he said: ‘Guess what? I bought a house.’”
Nicole joined Timothee and Kylie at the 2025 Oscars as her son was nominated for best actor in A Complete Unknown. Kylie was sat next to him for the awards show, but gave up her seat to Nicole during the award announcement.
A source told Page Six: “Timothee didn’t ask Kylie to switch seats with his mom but he thought it was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture.”
“Kylie is so proud of Timothée despite losing the best actor award to Adrien [Brody],” they added. The couple have reportedly been dating since 2023.
Jenner famously skipped the Oscars red carpet this year. Instead, the 27-year-old reality TV star decided to join the audience inside the Dolby Theatre next to Timothee to celebrate his nomination.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was constantly by his side throughout the 2025 award season, however the couple are still yet to make their red carpet debut.
Beside using the opportunity to allow both of them to have separate public identities, Kylie may have had another reason for laying low.
The ceremony marked one of Kylie’s first public outings since the death of her friend and hairstylist Jesus Guerrero.
Although they have been frequently spotted in public together, their lack of red carpet attendance indicates that they are keen to keep their relationship private.
This means the spotlight is also focussed on their individual careers rather than their relationship, although many of their fans are eager for a peek into their lives.
