The Only Way is Essex star Chloe Brockett has been taken to hospital.
The reality star shot to fame on the ITVBe reality hit and is currently going out with Love Island star Jack Fincham. Chloe has since branched away from TV and set up an account on Only Fans.
However, it’s said she suffered a severe asthma attack on Wednesday (March 19) and was taken to A&E by her boyfriend Jack. The TV personality is believed to have been dealing with poor health in the wake of Jack’s court case.
A source told The Sun: “Everyone knows about the stress of Jack’s court case but behind the scenes Chloe has been ill for months. She’s been cancelling work commitments and not seeing friends.
“Last night she had a bad turn and ended up in hospital with a severe asthma attack. She’s always had asthma but it’s usually under control then last night she was struggling to breathe.”
Luckily, she was with Jack at the time as he was able to take her to hospital, where she spent a few hours and was seen to by doctors before being allowed to return home. The source said the last few months with Jack’s legal troubles have “really taken its toll” on Chloe and her health.
Jack was sentenced to six weeks behind bars in January after his Cane Corso dog bit two people, injuring one of the individuals. Just hours after his sentencing, Jack was released from prison on bail pending an appeal.
He was ordered to pay £3580 to the courts, including a £200 compensation fee to Robert, one of the victims, and a £50 compensation fee to a second victim. A payment plan was set up for Jack to pay £400 a month – prosecutors said he has “no savings” despite his time on shows such as Love Island and following endorsement deals.
Jack gave a thumbs up as he was led away to the cells after his sentencing, but Chloe was seen weeping in the stands as her boyfriend was handed the sentence, seated beside Jack’s family. Sadly, Jack recently revealed he thought about taking his own life after spending £1million on “drugs, booze and gambling”.
The star said he suffered one of his darkest moments while on a holiday with Chloe last year – jumping off a hotel balcony after believing he had lost all of his money during a gambling spree. He told The Sun: “We were in a hillside lodge and I jumped. If I’d have dived at a different angle, I may not be here today. That is scary
He said his addictions made him ‘feel like a failure’ and “destroyed everything”. He explained: “I feel like a failure, utterly mortified by the things I have done. I had the world at my feet and I screwed it up.
“Embarrassed just doesn’t touch it. It is hideous. I cry when I think about how I’ve let people down. I have blown more than a million pounds thanks to drugs, booze and gambling.”
Chloe rushed to reception at the hotel they were staying and and was reportedly “scared he was going to kill himself”. Luckily, Fincham survived the suicide attempt with a busted angle.
Chloe has spoken about going through a tough time herself, since quitting TOWIE, blaming production for setting up her suspension from the show. Chloe said she’s much happier now, but described the year following her departure as “hell.”
Speaking to The Sun, she claimed that being on the series resulted in getting death threats and suffering at the hands of a stalker.
