Amanda Holden's sexiest Britain's Got Talent looks of all time as series returns

With another series of Britain’s Got Talent on our doorstep, viewers can look forward to more dazzling looks from the judging panel.

BGT veteran Amanda Holden has been dividing viewers for years with her sultry wardrobe choices on the show – even racking up hundreds of Ofcom complaints.

With plunging necklines, sheer panelling and saucy slits, the 49-year-old beauty knows how to make a statement with her looks onstage.

When the series began in 2007, her outfits were more pared-back and casual, but recent years have seen the show overtaken by full-blown red carpet glamour.

Now, six months of planning goes into every sophisticated ensemble, with Amanda practising yoga to stay in tip-top shape for the series.

Below, we take a look at some of Amanda’s most sizzling looks from Britain’s Got Talent over the years.

Frontless gown

Ofcom was ambushed by complaints from viewers after Amanda modelled a green sequinned gown for the 2018 semi-finals.

Complete with an extreme plunging V-neck, the controversial dress was the third most complained about moment on British telly for the year.

Speaking to The Sun the following April, she laughed about the public’s reaction to the stunning evening look.

She said: “That dress was hysterical — it was Julien Macdonald. I had bits of fish wire underneath my breasts trying to hold that together. But, look, I’m from a small- chest family, plus you know I’m 48 years old.”

Before adding: “It’s all quite laughable, but all everyone seems to talk about.”

Yellow Dress

Last July, Amanda rocked up to the second day of filming for Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions looking a million dollars.

The mum-of-two modelled a gown by Lebanese designer Basil Soda, featuring a tulle fishtail hem.

With detailed beading and a lemon-yellow base, the floor-length number was the definition of Hollywood glamour.

Hyping up the look backstage, Amanda wrote: “So great to be filming @bgt champions #bgtchampions #backstage Hope you’re enjoying the heat!”

Underwear expose

Two years ago, BGT judge Amanda turned up the heat for the 2018 finals, flashing her undies in a sheer floor-length gown.

Dotted with polka-dot detailing, the tulle skirt turned see-through under the studio lights.

On top, the sheer gown featured layers of ruffles, with an elegant sleeveless finish.

See-through gown

Making a splash at the 2016 Britain’s Got Talent semi-finals, Amanda slipped on a pastel number with sheer panelling.

Plunging down to her naval, the yellow ballgown offered a glimpse of her toned pins from beneath the embroidered fabric.

Designed by one of Amanda’s favourite makers, Lebanese designer Basil Soda, the dress was from his 2016 couture line.

Sequin sensation

During the 2017 Britain’s Got Talent live shows, Amanda gave Hollywood A-listers a run for their money in a plunging sequin number.

Held together at her naval with an elaborate brooch, the gown featured see-through slashes around her hips and bust.

Turkish designer Nedret Taciroglu thought up the sultry look, which was sold as part of the Nedo collection in the months after the series aired.

Going full-throttle with the glamorous look, Amanda worked dangly earrings and a bejewelled cuff by Adler to top off the ensemble.

Simon Cowell joked that he could see “everything” through Amanda’s risky gown

Extreme thigh-slit

Amanda’s most risqué gown of all time was undoubtedly the white cut-out number, featuring an eye-watering thigh slit.

The blonde bombshell worked the gown for day three of the live semi-finals of BGT, all the way back in May 2016.

Designed by Greek brand Celia Kritharioti, Amanda luckily avoided a wardrobe malfunction and the show went without a hitch.

Complete with a high neckline and trailing hem, the sultry number offered a glimpse of her mega-toned pins beneath.

The dangerous slit didn’t go unnoticed by her fellow judge Simon Cowell, as Amanda revealed in an interview with The Sun.

She said: “I got up and Simon said: ‘You’re barely wearing anything and I can see everything!'”
