Bad Girls Club reality star Demitra 'Mimi' Roche dies aged 34

Demitra Mimi Roche has died aged 34, it has been revealed.

Known for her role in the reality series Bad Girls Club, Roche’s cause of death has yet to be confirmed.

Her death was announced by record producer Vince Eyma, founder of Valholla Entertainment.

Sharing a statement over Twitter, he said: “I’m at a loss for words. Don’t know what to say. Mimi was kind to everyone she came across.

“She was big dreamer & was a part of our Valholla family.”

Eyma added: “There’s probably not one person who would have something negative to say about her. We lost a beautiful soul.”

On Bad Girls Club, Roche was best known as “The Miami Maverick,” appearing on season eight of the series in 2012.

Produced by the Oxygen network, the show followed a series of women spending four months together in a house in Los Angeles.

Her co-star from the show, Gabrielle Victor, shared a tribute over Twitter, saying: “Mimi… I’m feeling this with my whole chest right now.

“I wish I could go back. All that petty s***. All the s*** production wanted us to get caught in wasn’t worth it.

“Knowing you’re gone & I didn’t get to really tell you how much it was a pleasure to really meet you.”

Roche’s cause of death has yet to be confirmed

According to her LinkedIn profile, the former reality star had been working in human resources at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek for the past two years.

At the time of her death, Roche was reportedly also studying for a degree in business administration at Broward College.

Reflecting on Roche’s 34th birthday, which she celebrated shortly before her passing, her best friend Ashley Colson penned a sweet tribute for her pal over Facebook.

She said: “I just wished you a happy birthday then the next day this is what I see.

“Some of you may know her from bad girls club but I knew the real her.

“Such a sweet soul and with radiant energy so full of life. Gone too soon.”
