Reality star Curtis Pritchard reignites Maura Higgins feud with 'cheat' claims

Curtis Pritchard has unleashed a blistering attack on his former lover, Maura Higgins, claiming that she cheated during their year-long romance.

The Love Island alumni has taken part in an upcoming Channel 4 comedy skit show, Stand Up To Deliver and couldn’t resist making gags about his former castmates and previous relationship.

Curtis, 25, who is hoping to find love on Celebs Go Dating, split from Maura, 30, in 2020, eight months after the couple met in the luxury Love Island villa following claims of infidelity.

During his stand up routine, Curtis recalls the time he worked at a kennel before saying it was the ideal training he needed before entering Love Island.

The professional dancer said: “Looking back now it reminds me of Love Island because when the dogs are in season they go crazy, there was bitches running around left, right and centre, they were trying to ride each other non-stop, it was wild.”

Speaking of his female castmates on Love Island, he went on to say: “You’ve got all these different shapes and sizes in front of you, take it for a spin, take it for a test drive and if you don’t like it, you send it back.”

However, his most brutal dig was when he revealed he likes a smooth whisky as it’s “trusting, the flavour will never cheat on you…unlike my ex-girlfriend.”

The show will see a string of celebrities including Shaun Ryder team up with a real-life comedian and perform in front of an audience, raising funds for cancer charities.

Curtis told The Sun: “Love Island is in there, absolutely, there were lots of comedy elements in that.

“Comedy is meant to be edgy, pushing the boundaries and at the end of the day, it’s meant to be just good fun and enjoyment for everyone that’s going to listen, that’s the answer I’ll give for that.”

Both Curtis and Maura strongly deny the claims they have made against each other.

The couple announced their split on Instagram, with Maura saying: “There is no easy way to get through a breakup and no bad feeling on either side. We tried to make it work but it wasn’t to be and I wish Curtis nothing but the best for the future

Since splitting, Maura has gone on to find love with Love Island pal, Christopher Taylor, who appeared on the same season as Maura and Curtis.
