Piers Morgan threw in the towel this week when he announced he would be leaving Good Morning Britain.
The TV presenter has co-hosted the show for five years alongside Susanna Reid.
But after Ofcom received more than 41,000 complaints regarding his conduct after ITV aired Oprah Winfrey’s interview with Meghan Markle, he decided to leave.

With Piers leaving Good Morning Britain, it has opened other avenues for him to earn money – for example on social media.
Piers, who has more than 1.5million followers on Instagram, has a high earning potential, so he can keep adding to his wealth.

In order to find out how much Piers could potentially earn from social media, OnBuy.com sought has used Influencer Marketing Hub’s sponsored post calculator.
With so many followers, he website found that he has a potential of earning a whopping £3,853.85 per sponsored Instagram post.
According to their research, he comes in at 13th place for UK TV presenters – so his career as an influencer could be waiting for him.

In first place is Holly Willoughby, who has the potential to rake in £18,106.55 per sponsored post on Instagram.
As one of daytime TV’s most-loved presenters, the kind-natured beauty boasts more than 7.1million Instagram fans.
Britain’s most-loved Geordie duo Ant & Dec claim second place, with the joint potential of earning £11,025.63 per post. Let’s hope they split it evenly!
