Emmerdale fans are nothing if not eagle-eyed, and tonight was no exception as they spied an odd blunder in a scene with Aaron Dingle (played by Danny Miller) and Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb).
The new “dynamic duo” were on a mission to try and find out where dodgy Connor is, as Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) was convinced he knew about who had beaten up Vinny (Bradley Johnson).
Aaron was struggling to trust Mack, who had enlisted someone he knew to do a deal with stolen TVs in exchange for information.
But as the mystery man finally gave them the details they needed, Aaron was just starting to relax with Mack when the police showed up on the ITV soap.
Stuck with a bunch of stolen TVs in Jimmy King’s haulage van, Aaron begged Mack to figure out what to do.
But Mack panicked and ran off, leaving an angry Aaron to deal with the police.
Unfortunately, viewers were more concerned over the apparent blunder as Mack ran away a bit too late – the police car had already parked up so many were convinced they’d have already spotted the second man.
Taking to Twitter, one fan said: “Aaron didn’t look at all suspicious #emmerdale.”
“Lol as if they didn’t see Mac load of b*****ks. #Emmerdale,” another posted.
A third laughed: “LMAO Mackenzie #Emmerdale.”
“Oh for goodness sake did the policeman not see Mackenzie run off. & why didn’t Aaron run after him. #Emmerdale,” a fourth frustrated viewer wondered.
While a fifth said: “Please Mackenzie wouldn’t of got that far. Go after him. #Emmerdale.”
“#Emmerdale surely the police officer saw Mac too,” another fan added.
Others were furious with Mack for leaving Aaron high and dry, especially given his prison record.
Some called Moira Dingle’s brother a “coward” and worried for Aaron, who was only trying to help his sister.
But despite his predicament, other fans remain convinced Aaron will end up with Mack on the ITV soap, saying the pair had electric chemistry.
Emmerdale continues tomorrow at 7pm on ITV.
