She continued: “So, while I was searching through my laptop for old photos to include in the book I actually came across a song I’d recorded about ten years ago. I’ve always really loved it, and it made me feel a bit sad that no one ever got to hear it.

“I mentioned this to my team and they said we could release it, and I thought ‘why the hell not?’ It’s called Wear It Like A Crown and it’s out on iTunes and streaming… FROM TODAY RIGHT HERE: http://linktr.ee/SarahHarding.”

Her new song is called Wear It Like A Crown and the money will be given to charity

Sarah then revealed that if the single made any money, she’d be giving it straight to charity.

She added: “I’ve literally no idea how this all works anymore, but on the off chance it generates any profit, I’ll give it all to the Christie NHS Foundation @thechristienhs where I’m receiving my treatment.

Sarah, 39, recorded the song ten years ago as a side solo project from Girls Aloud.

It was a new entry at no.28 over the weekend but it has since skyrocketed to the number one spot.

Sarah recently reunited with her Girls Aloud bandmates Cheryl, 37, Nadine Coyle, 35, Kimberley Walsh, 39, and Nicola Roberts, 35, at Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire for an overnight stay.

Their secret reunion was the first time they’d all come together in eight years.
