Thrice-married Ulrika Jonsson has delved into her own divorces to provide Louise Redknapp with some heartfelt ‘sisterly’ advice.
The 53-year-old wanted to encourage the former eternal singer – who split from ex Jamie in 2017 – to leave her divorce well in the “past” and to instead look forward to her own future in light of claims Jamie is set to become a dad once more.
Reports seemingly confirmed via Instagram claimed that Jamie’s partner Frida Anderson is pregnant with their child.
Although, Louise and the football pundit parted ways four years ago, the Heavy Love hitmaker has been open about her “struggles” with trying to find herself again after their split.
Ulrika who has previously divorced from Brian Monet, Lance Gerrard-Wright and John Turnbull, thought she’d offer up some words of wisdom as she’s been through it all before.
In her column for The Sun, she penned: “So, I hope Louise and all the other divorcees out there, male and female, can unchain and emancipate themselves, believe their divorce is their past and not their future.”
She added: “I keep hearing this negative talk and have come to realise that the end of a relationship or, indeed, a marriage should not be deemed a failure.
“We need to change the narrative about divorce.
“Sometimes it is no one’s fault and divorce can be accepted as a good thing — and yes, even something to be celebrated.”
Ulrika’s advice lands after the rumour mill was sent into a spin at the beginning of the week after Jamie’s new Swedish model girlfriend Frida Anderson liked a series of online comments about being pregnant.
Dozen’s of “congratulations” posts landed on her most recent Instagram upload and Frida wasn’t exactly shooting down speculation.
Instead the model added a number of hands together emojis, seemingly thanking those who had offered kind words of encouragement.
According to recent reports it is anticipated that Frida, 37, is three months pregnant with the baby believed to be due in November.
A source told The Sun: “Jamie and Frida are absolutely delighted.
“They’ve been virtually inseparable in lockdown, and their relationship has gone from strength to strength.
“The couple started telling their nearest and dearest last week.
“Jamie’s been telling pals he’s really excited to be a dad again — less excited about the sleepless nights, and nappy-changing. But both he and Frida will be brilliant, hands-on parents.”
The former footballs star already shares two sons Charley, 16 and 12-year-old Beau with his ex-wife Louise.
