Corrie spoilers tease Gail death fears, Alina baby bombshell and sad exit

Coronation Street’s Tyrone Dobbs will be faced with life and death in upcoming scenes, as he juggles news of his girlfriend’s pregnancy with the death of his former partner Kirsty Soames.

Corrie spoilers have revealed the baby news will threaten to tear his fractured family apart completely, as Tyrone (Alan Halsall) wrestles with telling Fiz Brown (Jenny McAlpine) the truth.

Elsewhere, Gail Platt (Helen Worth) is piled into the back of an ambulance with a suspected heart attack, her family’s trauma proving too much to bear.

In positive news, James Bailey (Nathan Graham) finally comes out as gay, his feelings for Danny inspiring him to take pride in his identity.

Below are the biggest Corrie spoilers of the week – don’t miss an episode.

Baby bombshell

As Kirsty’s funeral looms, Tyrone learns his girlfriend Alina is with child

With Kirsty’s funeral on the horizon, Fiz puts her hurt to one side and helps Tyrone with the arrangements, breaking the news to Ruby.

In the factory, Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu) learns about Tyrone’s abusive relationship with the late police officer, and fumes at him for keeping it from her.

Suddenly, Alina confesses she’s pregnant, leaving Tyrone lost for words as he heads to the undertakers.

A furious Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) clocks Alina is pregnant when she hears about her morning sickness, but Fiz is none the wiser.

Alina’s too poorly to go to Kirsty’s funeral so Fiz accompanies Tyrone, consoling him throughout the ceremony.

Making peace, Fiz tells Tyrone he’s a great dad to the girls – can he summon the nerve to tell her about Alina’s pregnancy?

Girl boss

Has Daisy taken her scheming too far?

Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) starts to take over the pub, giving herself all of Sean Tully’s (Antony Cotton) shifts behind Jenny Connor’s (Sally Ann Matthews) back.

When Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell) learns Sean – and his hot pot recipe – will be missing from the Rover’s Return, she stages a strike.

Jenny reads the Double Glammy article in the newspaper and is horrified, her mood worsening when she learns what Daisy has been doing in the pub.

Taking back control, she reinstates Sean and Emma, leaving Daisy humiliated.

Jenny – who paid a visit to the bank – reveals she has enough to buy the pub herself, with no help required from Daisy.

Is this the beginning of a new era for the Rover’s Return?

A moment of Pride

Marking Pride month, James will come out as gay at the press conference

His football career going from strength to strength, James is offered Tommy Orpington’s (Matt Milburn) role in the team upon his retirement.

In an emotional chance encounter, he runs into Danny and they go to lunch, but they are secretly photographed from afar.

His feelings coming to the surface, James asks Danny whether they can give their relationship another shot, but admits he wants to keep it under wraps.

Danny turns him down, and heads to the airport for a job in France, leaving James devastated.

Pictures of the two on a date emerge online, accompanied by vile homophobic comments.

At a press conference, James steels himself to come out as gay, finally living life on his own terms.

Now that he has taken pride in his sexuality, can he win back Danny?

Health scare

An ambulance will be called for soap stalwart Gail following a suspected heart attack

David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) starts scheming when he learns Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) is desperate to see Sam, and tries to arrange for them to bump into each other.

Nick grows upset when he manages to catch a glimpse of his son, only for Natasha Blakeman (Rachel Leskovac) to drag Sam away.

As Gail goes to babysit her grandson, David begs her to let Nick see Sam, only for his mum to refuse to go against Natasha’s wishes.

Paying no heed to her demands, David arranges for Nick and Gail to meet, leaving his mum feeling worse for wear.

Gail runs outside, clutching her chest as an ambulance is called to give her emergency aid.

Breathless, Gail shames David and Nick for their bickering, pointing out it has likely caused her heart attack.

With an ambulance on its way, will Gail survive the health battle?

Career misgivings

Should Alya be concerned about Ryan’s friendship with Daisy?

Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) is peeved when he suggests heading out for the night, only for Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) to point out she needs to work again.

Alya then insists Ryan needs to get a job if they’re ever going to be able to afford a house.

A dejected Ryan heads to the Rover’s Return, where Daisy listens to his worries and offers him support.

Learning Ryan has a passion for DJ-ing, Daisy encourages him to turn his hobby into a full-time pursuit.

With Alya oblivious to her boyfriend’s whereabouts, could Ryan and Daisy’s friendship take a romantic turn?

Coronation Street continues on Monday at 7.30pm on ITV
