Dermot O'Leary warns JLS to 'shut up' as noisy boy band disrupt This Morning segment

Dermot O’Leary warned JLS to “shut up”, as the noisy boy band disrupted a This Morning segment during Friday’s show.

The pop group were in the studio waiting to be interviewed by Dermot and his co-host Alison Hammond.

Before their interview, This Morning chef Nisha Katona was cooking up a storm in the kitchen while chatting to the presenters about the prawn korma she was making.

Dermot then said: “Hang on, Nisha. I can’t hear you.”

Unable to hear Nisha due to the noise JLS were making, Dermot turned around and shouted across the studio: ” JLS, would you shut up over there?

“We’re having a curry!”

The boyband then profusely apologised, with Aston Merrygold quipping: “I’m just so excited.”

Dermot was having none of it.

Shaking his head, he then said: “Katona’s cooking over here. Pipe down!”

He later added: “Sorry, Nisha. It’s always a scene with JLS.”

As Nisha chose to forgive the boyband for their interruption, the segment proceeded smoothly and JLS were later interviewed themselves.

Sporting a brand new image, the group looked excited to be speaking with Alison and Dermot.

On their reunion and on working with Ed Sheeran on their new music, Marvin revealed that Ed initially wrote his hit song Lego House for the band.

Marvin added: “We spoke again this year and said we’re doing a new album… it’s kind of like a big, full-circle moment.”

Alison and Dermot were keen to talk to the group about their new music and working with Ed Sheeran

Aston added: “We’ve stayed close.

“We’re basically like a family anyway so we’ve always kind of had [that bond].”

JB added: “We’ve made a conscience decision here [to reunite] and the good thing is, we’ve had quite a while away but we’ve been able to plot and plan exactly what we want to do.”

“Obviously, new music is coming.”

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
