Sex Education star tells fans 'f*** off' as they swarm him for pics on night out

Sex Education actor Asa Butterfield didn’t hold back as he ranted at fans following a disappointing night out.

The 24-year-old had been trying to enjoy some social time on an evening out with friends when he felt the need to take to Twitter to tell people to “f*** off”.

Asa – who plays Otis Milburn on the hit Netflix series – was left furious on Saturday night because of the sheer volume of people attempting to take photos of him.

He hinted that it was the individuals who were attempting to snap and film him without his permission that had got his blood boiling the most.

And it appeared that the star had to cut short his evening and jump in a cab home just to get away from the crazed fans pursuing him with their phone cameras.

A livid Asa then jumped on his social media page to ask people to just leave him alone in future.

He posted: “I’m so tired of people filming me/taking pics without asking while I’m on a night out. It actually kills my mood and my night, f*** off, leave me be please.”

Asa then admitted to physically “slapping” phones away from his face as he had been trying to enjoy himself.

Understandably upset he continued: “Tweeting this from a cab home after I’ve had to slap multiple phones out my face tonight.”

The actor then tried to lighten the mood by changing the subject – and showing off his pet to his followers.

He added: “Anyway look at my cat.”

Asa recently spoke about changes in Sex Education following the launch of a run of new episodes for season three by Netflix.

He told The Guardian: “There’s a bit of a time-jump since the season two cliffhanger. Otis is back at school but he’s got different things on his plate. He’s grown up a bit and become slightly more sassy.”

But he confirmed things haven’t changed that much and his character will still be a bit of a mess too.

He added: “It’s been fun to portray his newfound charisma. Don’t worry, though, he’s still tragically awkward too.”
