Gemma Collins has revealed she had to be put on a drip as she continues to battle post-Covid exhaustion.
The former Towie star, 41, has recovered after having the coronavirus but said she has days where she “literally can’t do a thing”.
She has now told fans on Instagram that she had a nurse come to her Essex home to give her a treatment.
Sharing a video showing a drip in her arm, Gemma told her followers: “Today I am poorly, since having Covid it’s really weird, it’s like, I have these days where I literally can’t do a thing.
“I don’t know if anyone else is experiencing this, but it is just so weird.”
The TV star also shared a snap of the drip, captioned: “Covid deffo makes you feel weird after.”
She followed it up with a selfie that showed her with her hair tousled and no make-up.
“Exhausting effects after Covid one day you feel fine another just awful,” the star wrote.
Gemma introduced her nurse to her fans in the video as she talked about how you can be fine one minute and shattered the next.
Packing up her equipment, the nurse advised the reality star: “Take your time, listen to your body and I’ll see you soon.”
But the GC jokingly pleaded: “Don’t go!”
Gemma’s parents Joan and Alan also had the coronavirus earlier in the pandemic, and the star previously said it had really “wiped” out her dad.
In 2020 she shared a moving picture of her dad in bed while she held his hand, and told her fans: “Covid is so scary laying next to my dad holding his hand right now.
“I am showing you this to create awareness of how real Covid is.”
