Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s romance – blood pact, painful ring and DNA gift

It’s fair to say Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s (aka Colson Baker) romance shocked the world when the odd couple confirmed their relationship back in 2020.

While the Hollywood star was in the middle of a divorce from her husband Brian Austin Green after 10 years of marriage, the actress found herself madly in love with the musician.

During the peak of the pandemic, the pop-punk power couple’s newfound love was all anyone could talk about as the lovestruck duo moved at break-neck speed.

The two love birds frequently hit the headlines as they regularly shared their undying love for each other online with their loyal legion of fans on social media.

But fans couldn’t help but point out the couple’s intense and unusual acts of love online as they packed on the PDA everywhere they went.

Now, as the rapper celebrates his 32nd birthday in style, Daily Star have taken a deep dive inside their intense whirlwind relationship.

Megan and MGK first locked eyes when the pair met on the set of indie film Midnight In The Switchgrass back in March 2020, which was forced to come to a halt during the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

But after the production shut down, a source told E! News that the co-stars had “been hanging out a lot”.

They added: “The down time has been good for them … they are intrigued by each other and having a lot of fun.

“It’s new and exciting for Megan … she has only been with Brian [Austin Green] for many years and this is very different. She’s into it.”

During their first joint interview together a few months later on Lala Kent and Randall Emmett’s podcast, Give them Lala … With Randall, the brunette beauty confessed how she was utterly struck by her onscreen love interest.

She told listeners of her initial first impression of the musician when they met onset, saying: “I was like, ‘Who is going to play this role?’ And he was like, ‘Oh, we just got Machine Gun Kelly,’ and immediately, I was like, ‘Uh oh’.

“Because I knew – I could feel that some wild shit was going to happen to me from that meeting, but I wasn’t yet sure what. I just felt it like, deep in my soul – that something was going to come from that.”

After just a couple of days filming together, the mum-of-three said she felt a special connection with the blond hunk.

She added: “I knew right away that he was what I call a twin flame. Instead of a soul mate, a twin flame is actually where a soul has ascended into a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time.

“So we’re actually two halves of the same soul, I think. And I said that to him and almost immediately, because I felt it right away.”

Bloody Valentine

In May 2020, Kelly released the music video for his single, My Bloody Valentine, which Megan Fox starred in.

In the three-minute video, Megan played the role of Kelly’s domineering girlfriend who even stood on his face at one point, which she proudly shared on her Instagram account.

And the blond hunk went on to hint that the pair were in a relationship days after the Daily Mail published pictures of the pair holding hands and kissing after a wild night out in California.

He shared a cryptic lyric from his single My Bloody Valentine on Twitter, writing: “’I’m calling you girlfriend, what the f**k.” Life imitated art on that one [love heart emoji, knife emoji].”

In July, the happy couple became Instagram official after the rapper posted a black and white mirror selfie as they stuck their tongues out.

He captioned the sweet snap: “Waited for eternity to find you again … [knife emoji, star emoji, love heart emoji, knife emoji].”

One month later, the brunette beauty posted her own version of the black and white mirror selfie, as the pair jumped out of the pool and posed for a snap together.

Megan rocked a tiny string bikini which she teamed with a white fluffy towel wrapped around her waist in order to match her partner who now boasted a slew of new tattoos on his chest.

She captioned the post: “Achingly Beautiful Boy … My heart is yours [knife emoji, heart emoji, knife emoji].”

The power couple appeared on the front of British GQ Style together as they gave an intense insight into their loving relationship after they celebrated their one-year anniversary.

Megan said: “This is a very intense relationship. Our souls chose this to absolutely have to face our shadow selves; to face things about ourselves we didn’t want to have to know, that we tried to push away.

“It should be light but we also go to hell with each other,” she explained.

But it isn’t always plain sailing for the dynamic duo, as her loving boyfriend also hinted that their relationship is anything but perfect.

MGK chimed in with: “It’s ecstasy and agony for sure … I don’t want people to think anything’s perfect with us. I didn’t say it was the darkest fairy tale for no reason.”

On January 11, 2022, the internet’s favourite couple finally got engaged as Megan posted the special moment her fiancé got down on one knee on Instagram.

For their engagement, the happy couple went back to a Banyan tree where Megan said she and MGK asked for magic in July 2020.

She captioned the loving moment: “In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic.

“We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time.

“Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma.”

Megan went on to reveal how the two love birds sealed their love with an eye-popping ring and even drank each other’s blood.

She added: “Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him.

“And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes … and then we drank each other’s blood. 1.11.22.”

The raven-haired beauty went on to showcase her gorgeous custom ring which included an emerald and a diamond, thought to be both of their birth stones on one ring.

MGK later revealed that the ring was designed with small thorns which would hurt Megan when she tried to take it off.
