Countryfile presenter Helen Skelton is remaining positive since her recent split with husband Richie Myler.
Helen, 38, has shared a heartwarming family photo on her Instagram, posing with her three young children – Ernie, Louie, and baby Elsie, her brother, Gavin and his family, plus their parents.
The happy group were all enjoying a sunny weekend in the park, with Helen smiling as she held on to her daughter, while the wider family stood around a picnic table.
Helen captioned the photo “Can I go back to last weekend pls. Crew. #weekends,” alongside two heart emojis.
She wore a stripy top in the family snap and pulled her hair back into a messy bun.
Helen’s supportive fans were quick to praise her for her positive attitude.
One wrote: “Lovely you’ve got loving kind family around you. And you’ll meet someone you deserve”
Another agreed, writing: “Stay strong girl you got this n I hope you meet someone who truly deserves you xxxxxx”
A third fan added: “It isn’t very often I comment on posts but I’m so glad you are getting on with your life with your family. You are amazing and doing so well. You have my total respect. X”
Helen and Richie announced their split in April after eight years of marriage, and just four months after daughter Elsie was born.
In a short statement, the presenter of Channel 5’s On The Farm announced: “Very sad to say Richie and I are no longer a couple. He has left the family home. We will be doing our best to co-parent our small children.”
Richie has since confirmed he is in a new relationship with Stephanie Thirkill, the daughter of the multi-millionaire president of the Leeds Rhinos club he plays for. Stephanie and Richie reportedly met at a rugby dinner last autumn.
Despite meeting whilst still married, Richie insists there was no crossover and that he began the romance with Stephanie after his marriage collapsed.
