Paul O'Grady urged to move house after finding 'creepy' and 'cursed' object in garden

Paul O’ Grady fans are urging him to move home after he found a rather sinister-looking object while gardening.

The radio presenter and comedian found a creepy glass jar filled with liquid and what seemed to be a plaited lock of hair which left fans disgusted and worrying for his safety.

He shared his grim find on Instagram, saying that the hair looked red but might have been discoloured over the years.

Paul added: “I haven’t opened it and have no intention of doing so, in fact, I’m going to bury it again as it’s not only odd but slightly creepy. Any ideas what it is?”

Imagine finding this in your garden?

Fellow broadcaster Zoe Ball said it was like something from Tales of the Unexpected and that it may “bring a good harvest”.

Celebrity chef Andi Oliver said: “Holy sh*t! Yes, get that back in the ground quick snap!! Yikes!! “

Another fan thought it was an intestine while a further curious fan urged Paul, 66, to get it DNA tested.

More helpful comments poured in including one person saying it could be a Wicca tradition of burying a dead person’s hair as it “still contained their spirit”.

“I would bury it again”, they urged.

Another person just said “put your house up for sale” and yet another chimed in with: “It’s a witch bottle, buried to protect the house occupants and serve as a protective charm.

Fans thought it might be an ancient pagan spell

“It’s possibly filled with urine and a little alcohol. Basically it’s a bottled spell.”

Later on, Paul issued an update to his many followers. He said: “Thanks for all your comments about this, whatever it is I’ve buried it in the woods. It’s a super moon tonight and my birthday tomorrow so I’m not taking any chances!”
