EastEnders star Charlie Brooks, who plays Janine Butcher in the BBC soap, has stunned fans with a bold new hair transformation.
The actress, who has been in her role since 1999, often wears her hair in a short blonde bob, but opted for a vastly different look after a recent visit to the hairdressers.
She uploaded some glam selfies after the makeover and fans couldn’t get enough of the style shake-up.

Charlie wore a white linen blouse with dark buttons and a black tiered ra-ra skirt, accessorising simply with a chain necklace and matching bracelets.
She pouted for the camera and pulled a sassy pose as she took a picture of herself in the mirror to show off her incredible new ‘do.

Her shoulder length blonde hair was worn in tight ringlet curls and looked much lighter than her usual colour.
Charlie had also had her fringe curled, which framed her natural beauty and emphasised her dramatic jawline.
Behind her, the modern salon stretched out and showed vast, floor length mirrors and lush green plants in the background.
In another selfie, the 41-year-old angled her phone to a high shot of her side profile.

She stared straight ahead and gave a slight smile as she showed off her hair from a different angle with a row of white cabinets and cupboards behind her.
The Janine actress tagged her hair stylist James MacPherson and wrote in the caption: “For his hands and his hands only.”
She took to her Instagram story to share her new look with her 131,000 Instagram followers, which no doubt left them stunned as she often wears her hair much shorter for the BBC soap opera.

Charlie rejoined the show as Janine back in 2021 and reprised her role after a break from filming.
As one of Albert Squares most iconic residents, Janine has been involved in some the show’s most memorable and explosive storylines.
Fans will remember her marriage to former husband Barry, whom she murdered whilst they honeymooned in the Scottish Highlands, but she also murdered her fourth husband Michael Moon, framed Stacey Slater for attempted murder and slept with Ian Beale whilst working as a prostitute.
