BBC News viewers have been left outraged after the channel appeared to suffer from technical difficulties while showing Queen Elizabeth II leaving Balmoral in her coffin.
The 96-year-old left the world in mourning when she tragically passed away on Thursday (Sept 8).
Since the news of her death, the Queen’s body has now embarked on a journey from Balmoral to Edinburgh and was driven by six of the gamekeepers from the estate, lifting the coffin into the hearse at approximately 10am on Sunday morning (Sept 11).

But with the emotional scenes taking place, BBC News viewers were left outraged when the screen became blurry – leaving those who were tuned in unable to see the coverage.
Taking to Twitter, upset fans aired their annoyance.
One agitated spectator wrote: “Omg BBC you have one job to do and at the most critical time your tech goes down. Shocking truly shocking.”
Another penned: “Useless coverage of The Queen leaving Balmoral! Why is the picture cutting out at the most crucial time?”
A third echoed: “BBC have given us ENDLESS coverage, yet true to form just when the Queen leaves Balmoral for the last time, the picture on the BBC outside broadcast breaks up.”

Meanwhile a fourth viewer added: “BBC News sad that at the moment Queen leaves Balmoral, the picture blanks/breaks up, BBC must do better and pre-test their cameras/equipment thoroughly especially such an important camera at the gates of Balmoral, otherwise coverage good.”
As the BBC News reported on the coffin leaving the Scottish estate, the newsreader said: “A lot of people have said to me over the last few days, it doesn’t seem real.

“They, after all, saw that photograph of the Queen just five days ago meeting, the new Prime Minister, but this moment when the coffin emerges, well, that will be something that is tangible.”
The Queen’s body will make a 6-hour journey to Edinburgh where fans are currently waiting for her arrival.
The coffin will then make its way down the Royal Mile in Edinburgh before being it is taken to the Palace of Holyroodhouse, which is the official residence of the British monarch in Scotland.
