Courteney Cox showed off her playful side as she provided an ‘update’ on her 1985 Tampax advert for her fans.
The Friends actress poked fun at herself with the Instagram post as she brought the ad – which saw her become the first person to say ‘period’ on TV – up to date.
Courteney, 58, pulled on her legwarmers for the funny clip as she gave her take on menopause in a running commentary alongside the original advert.

1985 Courteney asked: “Does your life change once a month because of your period?”
Recreating the scenes modern-day Courteney posed a very different question as she joked: “Did your life completely change because of the menopause?”
Her retro self continued: “Still using pads?” While 2022 Courteney asked: “Still getting hot flushes? Let me tell you straight! Menopause can change the way you feel about getting older.
“Menopause will eat you alive. It’s horrible. Nothing else can do that. Plus, you can get the added bonus of drier skin and getting bald patches. Now that’s something!”
She then added: “Remember, there is nothing good about menopause!”
Courteney joked with her followers as she captioned the video: “My commercial needed an update.”
Fans recently saw Monica Geller star share another comical post when she pretended to be outraged by claims that Kanye West said Friends wasn’t funny.
Responding to the comment – which Kanye, 45, went on to claim he wishes he had written – Courteney made fun of him by posting a video of herself reading the comment and listening to his hit Heartless in the background.
She then joked that she was stunned by his claims before angrily turning off the song and storming off.
Courteney then purposely spelt Kanye’s name wrong as she captioned the post writing: “I bet the old Kayne thought Friends was funny ☹️.”
