Alison Hammond claims she cared for Jimmy Carr after his 'enlargement surgery'

Alison Hammond claimed that she “cared” for Jimmy Carr after his “enlargement” surgery in a cheeky quip made on I Can See Your Voice.

Appearing on BBC One’s I Can See Your Voice, which is hosted by Take Me Out legend Paddy McGuinness, Alison alongside Amanda Holden and Jimmy Carr.

The series, which first aired last year, sees the panellists help contestants to work out if the singers in front of them are actually good or miming.

After one “singer” named “social carer” either lip synced to his own voice or somebody else’s, Alison made a very cheeky quip.

She explained how the “singer” is probably really caring and sings to people in care homes, adding: “I mean, when I used to look after Jimmy, when he had his surgery, I went and cared for him.”

Paddy then asked what surgery Jimmy had, to which Alison replied: “It was the enlargement, wasn’t it?”

The studio audience then erupted into fits of laughter, as did Amanda.

Jimmy looked very taken aback when the camera went on him, but then he chimed in with: “I’m very happy with it,” while looking rather smug.

“Sorry, I laughed so hard then that I went dizzy,” Alison screamed before bursting out in laughter.

Alison’s quip was clearly just that – a joke, and oh boy did it deliver with the audience in the studio and at home.
