Hope Stape is back up to her old tricks again in Coronation Street next week as jealously gets the best of her and Stephen Reid is caught out as Amy Barlow is found unconcious

Coronation Street villain Stephen Reid’s (Todd Boyce) dark past comes back to haunt him this week.

The dodgy businessman receives a handwritten letter from a mystery sender claiming they know about him killing Rufus Donahue (Steven Mao).

He’s left shaken to discover the note and things get even worse when he’s approached by two teenagers demanding £10,000 to they’ll tell the police everything.

Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) also rubs salt in the wounds when he tells Stephen he’d rather die then watch him marry his mother Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox).

Elsewhere in Weatherfield, Amy Barlow (Ellie Mulvaney) turns to drink as she struggles to come in the aftermath of her rape ordeal.

She picks up the courage to speak out about Aaron Sandford (James Craven) but he insists they both wanted to have sex.

Also, Hope Stape is left green with envy as Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordon) invites Eliza over for tea and offers to teach her how to play chess.
