Madonna is said to have banned family and friends from discussing anything work-related while they were at her bedside in hospital – otherwise she would “lose her s***”.
According to her manager Guy Oseary, the queen of pop, 64, was hospitalised on Saturday (June 24) and kept in overnight after she was found unconscious with a “serious bacterial infection”.
Daughter Lourdes Leon, 26, along with the Vogue icon’s close friends and family dashed to the emergency unit to be with her and were strictly warned against discussing her Celebration tour.

The 84-date tour marking her four decades in the music business was scheduled to start on July 15 in Vancouver, Canada, continuing throughout the US and Canada through early October, before heading to Europe.
The Like a Virgin performer also added supplemental dates in the US in December and January, followed by four appearances in Mexico City.
For the moment, mum-of-six Madonna is out of the ICU and seems to be recovering normally at her home in New York City, according to CNN.
The Daily Mirror reported that a family source had revealed: “Everything, including this tour, is taking a back seat right now and no-one is allowed to even mention anything work-related around her because she will lose her s***”.
“She will put her career and her fame before her health until the day she is dead.”
A source close to the singer told CNN that “she’s resting, feeling better and following doctors’ orders”.
Oseary shared at the time: “Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected. At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour.”
Fans left heartfelt comments on Oseary’s post with comments such as: “Wishing her a speedy recovery!” and “Praying for a complete recovery!”.
Three years ago, Madonna had to call off a series of performances due to a severe on-stage fall, which led to her needing knee surgery.
The singer is well-known for putting herself under pressure to keep herself in shape and is a fan of “punishing” fitness routines, which see her working out six times a week with yoga, weight lifting and dancing.
