Former Coronation Street actress Georgia May Foote has tied the knot with her musician fiancé Kris Evans almost two years after he asked for her hand in marriage.
The 32-year-old, who is best known for playing the role of Katy Armstrong in the ITV soap, looked incredible in a beaded fishtail gown as the couple said “I do” in a log cabin-style venue surrounded by close friends and family.
Georgia first announced the news of their engagement back in December 2021 and shared photo of herself flashing her huge engagement ring as they sat in front of a picturesque beach sunset.
The star wrote: ” 30/12/2021. Mrs Evans to be. Of course I am still crying.
“@krisevansmusic I love you beyond words and I am honoured you have chosen me.”
Georgia went on to share videos of the big day on Sunday morning on her social media platform.
In one of her clips, the happy couple were joined by their loved ones as they said their vows under the timber-panelled roof which included grand chandeliers.
After tying the knot, the couple made their way through cheering family and friends against the gorgeous backdrop of trees from the huge bay windows.
Georgia and Kris were glowing with pride as they made their way through the large gathering of people with the actress raising her bouquet above her head in a cheery fashion.
Later on in the day, Georgia was seen celebrating her special moment drinking cocktails with pals before taking to the dance floor and showing off her stunning moves.
Actress Georgia previously opened up about her difficult split from ex-boyfriend George Alsford in 2018.
She also previously dated Corrie co-star Sean Ward for a brief while but after the pair had broken up Sean seemingly took aim at her when she split from George.
On social media he wrote: “Karma is a patient b****.”
But Georgia hit back and penned: “Karma aint a b**** to people who do nothing wrong. Guilt makes people do/say funny things doesn’t it. i always have to keep my mouth shut and i’m the one who gets the s*** say what u want cz i really dont care what u all think. I know everything about MY life.”
She then wrote: “Being a woman is seriously s***. When will papers/magazine stop slandering us. Making us look like certain types of people when they have no idea about what happens in our lives. Sick to death of being a good person and letting s*** go to save other peoples backs.”
And Georgia added: “Leave me alone to live MY LIFE. And do my JOB.”
