Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner allegedly took so much Viagra to fuel his wild sex parties that he went deaf in one ear, his wife Crystal claims.
Crystal was just 21 when she met the then-81-year-old Hef, and the pair finally exchanged vows in 2012 – remaining married until Hef’s death in 2017.
Plenty of arbitrary rules were placed on Crystal’s behaviour while living with the magazine founder, including a 6pm curfew. Hef would also dictate what colour nail polish she wore on a day-to-day basis – pale pink and sheer.

He would pat her gently on the head whenever her roots were showing, a reminder to break out the hair dye.
She was also expected to take part in his wild group sex sessions and watch his favourite movies with him after dinner each night – which was always chicken soup with cream cheese and crackers.
But to fuel said sessions, Hef needed Viagra pills, which are used to treat erectile dysfunction. He took so much that he lost his hearing in one ear – a recognised side effect of the drug.
Crystal said in her new memoir Only Say Good Things: “Hef always said he’d rather be deaf and still able to have sex. Weird.”
She’s not the first to speak out on the Viagra claims, with former Playmate Izabella St James telling Howard Stern back in 2006 that Hef couldn’t “get it up” any longer.
She revealed: “Well no, he takes his Viagra at a specific time at the club.
“He takes it at the club… around midnight, and so then we have to leave at 12.30pm sharp.
“And if we were dilly-dallying, he would get mad, he’d be like ‘come on girls’, he would push us out of there.”
Crystal had more to say on Hef’s wild bedroom antics, revealing: “It was embarrassing. I don’t know the most people there’d been in our bedroom at one time but – a lot. Pretty bad.
“We were like, ‘Oh, now it’s your turn.’ Nobody really wanted to be there but I think in Hef’s mind, he still thought he was in his 40s, and those nights, the people, the mansion, solidified that idea. He felt, ‘I’ve still got it’.”

Crystal’s first night with Hef wasn’t anything to write home about either.
She branded it “unremarkable”, explaining: “Whatever you would like, whatever you would think, or however you would want a night to go, well… it wasn’t that.”
Crystal added: “You can’t fault his timing. He dipped out right on time. Hef’s lifespan of 91 years, it ended on the cusp of #MeToo. Coincidence? I think not.”
Hef died in September 2017 of sepsis brought on by an E. coli infection, with cardiac arrest also listed on his death certificate.
Sources also claimed he was hiding a secret lung cancer battle from fans for months before his eventual death.
