A statement issued by the actor’s family affirmed his prolonged battle with deteriorating health leading up to his demise.

New information discloses that the family of Treacher is slated to inherit an impressive sum totaling £504,676.1, as indicated by figures unveiled by the probate office.

The actor’s grandchildren have also been identified as discretionary beneficiaries of his financial assets.

“I contacted my agent and communicated my willingness to take on the role. To my surprise, she responded, ‘I have already done so.’ For an actor, maintaining a consistent work stream is challenging, given the nature of the profession,” he remarked during that period.

In subsequent conversations, Treacher candidly admitted to not watching EastEnders after his departure, bluntly criticizing the popular show as “a load of old rubbish.”

“The news of Bill Treacher’s passing saddens us deeply. As one of the pioneers of our original cast, Bill’s portrayal of Arthur Fowler contributed significantly to the show’s popularity.

“Together with Wendy Richard, he shaped the iconic Fowler family, a cornerstone of the series.”

These sentiments were also echoed by Gillian Taylforth, who shared the screen with Treacher as Kathy Beale on the cherished soap.

“My heart holds countless fond memories of Bill. In fact, just the other day at work, we were reminiscing about his ability to ignite a mischievous twinkle in his eyes that invariably led us all into fits of laughter during scenes,” remarked the 68-year-old actress.
