Having already shown off his acting skills in EastEnders, Bobby Brazier is buzzing to show the world another of his talents on Strictly Come Dancing. But more importantly than winning, he wants to pay homage to his mother.
Jade Goody tragically passed away in 2009 at the age of 27, following a difficult battle with cervical cancer, which prompted 400,000 women to go for tests. And it goes without saying that she’d be over the moon with the man her son has become.
Upon the announcement that he’d signed up for the dancing competition, he instantly caught the bookmakers’ attention, who put him as a clear favourite to win the whole thing.

Alongside his partner, Diane Buswell, the 20-year-old will dive in, attempting to perfect the dance routines, outfit changes and everything else that comes along with being on the show.
The actor was only five-years-old when his mum passed away. But in a testament to his character, he’s determined to do everything in his power to honour her memory.
In an interview with The Daily Mail at the National Television Awards, he opened up on the songs he’d like to perform to, bravely revealing the one track that’d he do for his mother.
He said: “There’s a few – it depends on the mood. Saturday Love and also This Woman’s Worth by Maxwell – that would be beautiful; I’d hope to make people cry doing that. Maybe I’ll dedicate that one [to my mum]. I haven’t thought about it, but maybe that one.”
Speaking to The Daily Mirror, he added: “She’d be happy that I’m doing something that makes me happy. Like all my friends and all of my family, and everyone that loves me is. They’re happy for me because they know how much I’m going to enjoy myself and how happy I am to just be here.”
Since his rise to fame, Bobby has become a bit of a ladies’ man. However, unlike many before him, he won’t fall foul to ‘The Strictly Curse’ as he’s already broken up with 18-month ex-girlfriend Liberty Love.
However, while some may expect the actor to strike up a romance on the show, he’s laser-focused on claiming Strictly glory.
Upon the announcement of the news that’d he’d be teaming up with Dianne, he told his Instagram followers: “Happy, excited, relieved and very, very grateful to be partners.”
