ITV Emmerdale’s Lydia exits as family secrets revealed amid Craig murder investigation

Emmerdale favourite Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) leaves the family home in heartbreaking scenes set to air next week.

Fans of the ITV soap recently watched a series of flashbacks which revealed some huge secrets and many of the villagers remain in the dark. Police interviews continue following Craig Reed’s (Ben Addis) death as cops try to find the culprit.

Sam Dingle (James Hooton) is left shell shocked by the announcement that his wife Lydia is moving out of the family home. Kim Tate (Clare King) offers for her to move into Home Farm and Sam fears he’s lost her for good whilst Samson Dingle (Sam Hall) wants to try and fix things for his family.

Elsewhere, Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) is not acting himself and lashes out at Brenda Walker (Lesley Dunlop) who is left baffled. Soon bereft Brenda is crying on the shoulder of Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) who bolsters her to move on and find another man. With fire in her heart and anger burning, Brenda decides to do just that. Will Pollard manage to save things?

Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) is keen to spend time with his uncle Caleb Milligan (William Ash) but Tracy Robinson (Amy Wash) makes it very clear she’d rather stay at home. Although Nate is happy to have a quiet night in. Meanwhile Caleb is preoccupied spending time pursuing his new goal butwill he get what he wants? Also Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) has issues of his own to deal with at the scrapyard but not wanting to burden Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley), decides to try and handle it himself. Meanwhile, Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) voices concerns at what is going on.

Poor Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) finds himself guarding secrets and the stress of it is starting to get to him. Victoria and Jacob are playing with fire as they hold hands outside the shop; they quickly separate when David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) appears. Later Victoria is perplexed by Jacob suddenly ghosting her. Unaware of why.

Jai (Chris Bisson) and Laurel Sharma (Charlotte Bellamy) are shocked to hear from Tracy that Amit Sharma (Anil Goutam) attacked Nicky Milligan (Lewis Cope) because of Nicky’s sexuality.
