Hugh Hefner’s beloved silk pyjamas will be just one of the many things he owned which is put up for auction this year.
His items will be auctioned off seven years after his death along with some famous bits from Marilyn Monroe’s personal collection too. One piece up for grabs from Hefner’s collection includes a LeRoy Neiman 1959 original oil on canvas painting titled Romanoffs.
The pricey artwork is expected to sell for between $60,000-$80,000 (£47,000-£63,000. Playboy Magazine artwork is up for grabs too, with an Alberto Vargas original water colour drawing from the March 1967 issue valued at $30,000-$40,000 (£24,000-£32,000).

While Hefner’s art is expected to pull in a chunk of cash, some of his old clothes could also go for a lump sum. His iconic smoking jacket, silk pyjamas, slippers and tobacco pipe are also up for grabs.
Hugh was rarely seen without his red smoking jacket and silk pyjamas as he regularly pottered around with two of his Playmates on his arm.
The icon was known for being the founder and editor-in-chief of Playboy magazine. He then extended the Playboy brand and ultimately had his own Playboy mansion. With many women and celebrities visiting the place at least once in their lives, there are some wild tales to tell.
His third wife, Crystal Hefner, previously told The Daily Mail about some of the famous shenanigans that took place in the hefty home. She said: “There were the famous ‘Sunday Fundays’ when 200 young women would descend on the Playboy mansion.
“Its octogenarian owner took so much Viagra that it made him lose his hearing on one side (a recognised side effect of the drug).
“Hef always said he’d rather be deaf and still able to have sex. Weird.” The beauty had also said ahead of her new book, Only Say Good Things, she had strict rules when living with Hef, including a 6pm curfew to make sure she was home for dinner.
Hugh Hefner died at the age of 91 in 2017 after contracting sepsis. He passed at his Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles, which he no longer owned at the time of his death, having sold it for $100million to billionaire Daren Metropoulos a year before he died.
