The Traitors fans have been left gobsmacked after Diane revealed that she is the mother of another contestant on the show.
The tense BBC show returned for its third episode on Friday (January 5), and it saw Kyra killed off by the Traitors. But that wasn’t the only shocking moment at the start of the episode.
It was revealed that two contestants Diane and Ross are in fact mother and son. The pair have not currently told anybody their secret – and viewers have been left stunned.

At first, contestant Zack had told people he thought Paul was retired teacher Diane’s son. Paul then went and told her: “Diane, Zack has been going round and saying we’re mother and son. How spooky is that!”
Giving her thoughts on the whole mother / son debate, Diane dropped a bombshell, adding: “I can’t believe that it was suggested that Paul is my son. I mean he’s about three times taller than me. He’s got red hair. Paul just couldn’t be my son, but Ross is.”
On X, formerly known as Twitter, one person said: “This episode 3 twist! I GASPED!” Someone else added: “Tonight’s episode is some of the best tv i’ve ever seen.”
A third quipped: “The biggest and best twist! Oh my god.” Another viewer wrote: “THAT EP 3 TWIST OMGGGGGGG I AM SCREAMINGGGGG.” Echoing their thoughts, a fifth said: “The twist, the line delivery, the gasp I let out – perfect. Crown her now..” A sixth penned: “F*** I did not see that! What a twist!.”

As well as Ross, Diane also has a famous son. Kerr Logan. The actor has starred in Game of Thrones, and when the series started, he wrote on Instagram: “My mother is on the traitors. My mother is on the traitors. My mother is on the traitors. She’s bonkers. I’m scared.”
At the start of the series, Diane and Ross first met on the train to head on the show. They also spoke in the train carriage where they pretended to the cameras that they were strangers.
Elsewhere in the episode, Kyra was banished by the Traitors. After her fate was revealed, Kyra said: “I’m sad, I think with this game you have to strike a balance.
“And I think for me I didn’t strike that balance particularly well in the sense that I was too outspoken and I think that was intimidating. But one thing I did say when I was selected as a Faithful was I’m going to be authentically myself and I think I did that so I have no regrets.”
