Bradley Walsh was gobsmacked when a “rare player” on The Chase achieved a remarkable feat.
Viewers were equally flabbergasted as they took to their keyboards to hail one contestant who dared to go where few had gone before. Esther, who was a lawyer, stepped up for the cash builder and knocked it out of the park by answering every question right.
The player, who had just finished renovating her home, left fans open-mouthed as she answered all ten of Bradley’s questions correctly. Her answers were clear cut and said without hesitation.

Needless to say, she scooped up a whopping £10,000 in just the first round. Fans over on Twitter/X went wild as they claimed: “Never seen anything like that before,” and “never seen 10 before. Brilliant by Esther.”
Other commenters took a moment to praise Esther after she wiped the floor with her questions. One person said: “Wow! What a cash builder.
While a third person added: Starnge to get 10! Well done Esther #TheChase and fourth person thought Esther could be in line for a job on the programme. They said: “Chaser in the making. Mark my words. #TheChase.”
The Chaser, Jenny Ryan, who is better known as her alter-ego The Vixen, knew she had her work cut out for her with today’s team. Not only did Esther ace her first round she sailed through the second, taking her middle offer of £10,000 with her to her team.
Also on the team, was a junior doctor, who actually stepped up first and also had a blinding round in the cash builder. Ben answered 7 of Brad’s questions correctly.
While Ben was given a tempting high offer, he played it safe and opted to play for the £7,000 he’d won in the first round. Much to the annoyance of Jenny.
Again, like Esther, Jenny was no match for the junior doctor who easily took home his winnings. In fact pretty much all of the team were on fine form, including Tony who had a clean sweep too.
The only person taken out by the chaser was snake enthusiast Anne and it her round against Jenny went to the wire, with the two duelling over the final question.
With three strong players in the final chase, Jenny knew she had her work cut out. And she was right to be dubious.
The trio scored a whopping 20 points and aced a number of pushbacks, meaning Jenny was on the back-foot for her last round. After being unable to catch up, she admitted defeat and said: “The damage was done when you set a target with a 2.
“The pressure was on. I just couldn’t get a rhythm going with the questions and you did very well with the pushbacks. A very good team. Well done.”
Esther, Ben and Tony each walked away with £7,000. That was an equal split of the £21,000 they’d managed to win throughout the game.
