Eamonn Holmes, 64, and his younger partner Katie Alexander, 42, have been snapped gearing up for a lovey-dovey Mediterranean cruise.
The GB News anchor was seen at Barcelona port ready to embark on a romantic getaway, zipping around in a mobility scooter with his belle by his side. Eamonn’s decided it’s time for some R&R under the sun with his lady love, opting for a late summer escape.
Katie, looking chic in a striped jumper, khaki chinos and towering perspex heels, breezed through arrivals, flicking her blonde locks out of her eyes. The couple paused for a quick chinwag as Katie gestured to something, before continuing their jaunt through the airport.
Word has it that Eamonn’s ex, Loose Women star Ruth Langsford, and her circle are utterly “gobsmacked” by the lavish jaunt. His romance with Katie hit headlines in May after he’d moved out and cheeky texts surfaced between him and another woman.

Back then, Eamonn had set up shop in a new pad, with Katie often popping over post his split from Ruth, ending their 14-year marriage. A sneaky insider spilled to The Sun about the cruise: “The cruise is just the latest proof of their closeness. Katie has been telling pals she and Eamonn are going to be for keeps – and now everyone is starting to believe her.”, reports the Mirror.
They spilled the beans: “Eamonn’s zest for her – the latest being this all-expenses-paid trip – has wowed Ruth and pals. He has found a new lease of life for sure. Everyone is amazed.”

The couple isn’t new to jet-setting together, having previously enjoyed a getaway to Belfast. Plus, she recently set tongues wagging about a possible engagement after being seen with a ring on that crucial finger.
In May, Eamonn and Ruth dropped their breakup bombshell in a joint statement, revealing: “Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.”
