Sex Pistols star shares cheeky three-word response as he’s asked about famous flings

Sex Pistols star Glen Matlock had a cheeky response after being quizzed about his love life over the years.

When asked if he’s been a hit with the ladies over the years and if there are any famous names in his little black book, Glen laughed: “I’ve done alright,” before adding “But I won’t be disclosing anything.”

He continued: “I’ll tell you what being in this industry it does make it hard to settle down and maintain a relationship, and you can’t be with anyone who is jealous as it just brings trouble. You can have a photo with the fan but it can get misconstrued and appear to be more, but it’s just innocent and it’s hard to be in one place for a long time as you’re always travelling with the job.”

The music icon spoke exclusively to Daily Star as he promoted his solo tour which will kick off November 15th in Norwich. The Pistols also reunited recently and embarked on a tour earlier this year, with a new frontman.

The bassist also made a cheeky swipe about Oasis after the group announced their mighty comeback. When asked what he thinks about supergroup reforming, Glen said “It’s about time they come up with their own stuff.”

The musician added: “Being an older bloke I tend to see where they borrowed ideas from and I think they need to come up with some of their own ideas. But at least they admit it, everybody nicks and borrows ideas but the trick is to kind of make it look like you haven’t done that but there you go.”

“Good luck to them, I think Liam Gallagher’s voice and personality is great. They’ve had a lot of success in the whole Manchester scene. Glen also revealed another issue he had with the band members.

Glen scoffed: “You know that whole baggy thing? I’m annoyed at them because they made it acceptable to make sleeves long and it made it harder for a bloke like me to get a good shirt so I hold them responsible entirely, like clothes for orangutans.”
