Radford family dad slams Dubai restaurant over Sunday roast as ‘Toby Carvery way better’

Noel Radford has slammed a posh restaurant in Dubai saying its Sunday Roast was “the worst ever” and had nothing on Brit favourite Toby Carvery.

The father-of-22 ate at the high-end restaurant while holidaying with wife Sue but couldn’t contain his disappointment when the grub didn’t match up to the quality of the much more affordable Sunday lunch offerings available back home.

Telling their fans about the experience, the pair, who rose to fame having first appeared on the reality TV show 15 Kids and Counting (now 22), and also documenting their daily Radford family lives as Britain’s largest family on YouTube, were let down by it.

Noel, 53, and Sue, 49, are currently on holiday at a luxury resort in the city, in the United Arab Emirates, for their anniversary ahead of daughter Millie’s nuptials.

In a vlog shared on their YouTube channel, Neil showed both of their plates and said it was “the worst one we ever had”.

The bakery owner, from Morecambe, Lancashire, said: “I hate complaining, never complain about anything but we went out for a meal today, for a Sunday roast, and it’s the worst one we ever had.”

He went on to call it “awful” and “just the worst ever,” saying: “Toby Carvery is way better.” Sue tried to justify it a little saying the beef was “very thin” and bacon-like.

Noel, while not wanting to name the restaurant, couldn’t quite believe the place was celebrity-endorsed. He also took issue with the fatty meat and not-to-his-liking gravy.

While Noel went on a “rant” about what would have been a £41 per person meal if it wasn’t included in their food package, Sue said it was merely disappointing. They have been documenting their meals throughout the holiday and been impressed with everything else so far – with the exception of Moroccan tea.

Together they share 22 children and have 9 grandchildren. Their giant brood lives in a 10-bedroom Victorian townhouse and former care home they purchased in 2004 for £240,000.

They also own and operate Radford’s Pie Company, a bakery in Heysham and support their family through this, their TV shows and their social media channels.
